    “敏，我可不可以跟你一起回港？”

    “我不知道……妈可能跟我一块儿回去，她说过要看看我放榜的成绩。其实我知道，如果我考的不好，她会要我来这儿继续读书。”

    “不要紧，就是你妈在旁，我也可以跟你一起回去吧？”

    兆良看我不回答，便说：“你怕开口，我跟你妈说吧！”

    “说甚麽？”我生怕他说我俩的事。

    “我跟你们一块儿回港呀！不过，如果你愿意跟我，我会跟你妈说我要娶你耶！”

    那晚妈又再邀请兆良吃晚饭，答谢他带我到处游玩。昨晚还没留意兆良，看到他今晚跟毕特和mama的谈话，对答自如，随和爽朗，说起EastMedow区的环境，毕特听得猛的点头。不过他们提到BethpagePark骑马，我就有点尴尬起来。

    “Rhys，didyourideonahorse？”毕特问起我来。

    “Itaughthimhowtorideonmyhorse。”兆良抢着说。

    “What？Michael，didyousayyougetahorse？”

    “Well，it’smypa’s。”

    “Ah，Isee…”

    “Pa，IgowithMiketomorrowafternoon？I’veneverbeentoEisenhowerPark…”

    我突然想跟兆良到EastMeadow走走，听到妈高兴的向兆良问起来：“Mike，I’vegotahearsay，EastMeadowhasagreatnumberofcollegesanduies。Isthatright？”

    “Yeah。”

    兆良心里明白我妈在打甚麽算盘，简单回应了便没再说下去。看到妈转头向毕特说：“Burt，IwantRhystohavealookhereorEastMeadow，ifhe’snotabletostudyinHongKong，atleasthemayfindacehere。”

    毕特微微暗笑，心里晓得妈恨不得我在这儿读书：“Honey，Iagree。”

    我心里雀跃起来，突然想说，又吞了下去。兆良看到我的表情便对爸妈说：“DoyoumindifItakeRhysthereforaday？EastMeadow’sprettyfamiliartome，andI’mchegahighschoolaswell。”

    “Yeah，Mike，great，great…thanksalot。Areyougoingtostudyhere？Mike。”妈反问起来。

    “Haha…I’minthecaselikeRhys。”

    “Oh，that’sreallygreat！We’dbettertonMike。Burt，doyouagree？”

    毕特微微笑起来：“I’mprettyoldtocheckcollegesnow……soMike，please，takecareofRhys！”

    “Yeah，sure！”

    兆良说得极其自然，想不到他装蒜装得到家了。势头顺利，我便向毕特
